Ah… Enjoyed an Arrogant Bastard Ale tonight with dinner. Stew and cornbread, to be precise. Offered a very fine compliment to the meal. Arrogant Bastard tasted very similar to the Lagunitas Maximus I tried the other night. Very hoppy and a bit bitter. Overall, though, a very good flavor and easy drinking beer.
We went to Cost Plus World Market tonight to stock up on some more brews. They have a really solid selection and the prices aren’t half bad, either.
Update: Upon further digging, I see that Arrogant Bastard is made by the folks over at Stone (I recently tried the Stone IPA and thought very favorably of it). Stone has a pretty damn cool Stone Company Store that is worth checking out.
Update2: Now that we are rating beer and this predates the JBB6 rating system, I am going to add it after further tasting tonight. Overall this is a Will Buy Again. I actually don’t like it as much as the Hop Henge from the other night, but still a very good beer.
