Tiger Beer
Posted by dugpark on February 20, 2008
A not-so-humble beer comes to my belly tonight. Tiger Beer appears to have started in the country of the chili crab, Singapore. I think I would have liked this beer more if it were accompanied by chili crab, but as it stands, my review could almost be a copy-paste of Po’s Tsingtao Beer review from yesterday.
While their website does say over 40 awards, it definitely doesn’t get any from me. I love our Middle of the Road category because it fits beers like this so well. You could probably put this in a line up of other Asia lagers and you wouldn’t really be able to tell the difference.
Overall a standard lager with standard color, head, flavor, and aftertaste. About the only thing that stands out is one of their initiatives that is pretty cool… Tiger Translate. Check it out for some interesting artwork, etc.
JBB6 Rating: Middle of the Road

I was served up some Tiger at my work summer party recently. You can read about it here (The Beer Diary)

Very nice. Not a bad beer but there are definitely others I would rather take advantage of.
