Our friends over at Widmer Brothers have had a pretty darn good showing on our blog… and for good reason. They make a mighty fine beer or two. 
Tonight, we have a yearly release from the beer guys over at Widmer… part of their “W” Brewmasters Releases, this year brings the second red beer of the group… they must really like red. Widmer Brothers W’08 Crimson Wheat brings me back to mellow times when I didn’t have a care in the world. Quite innocuous, this beer, which is where I find the comfort. One of those beers that you could curl up with by the fire and really enjoy… comforting, if you will. If you are looking for full flavor, you have come to the wrong place… looking for a good comfort-beer, this is one for you.
