Fish Tale Organic IPA – Soundkeeper

**UPDATE**

For some reason unbeknown to me, I screwed this one up.  I think it was a mix of the brewery and my investigative skills, to be honest. :)   So… the good folks at Fish Brewing hooked me up with some goods to get me on the right track.  Here are all of the posts from that experience, which I hope will set the record straight here.

**OLD POST BELOW**

First beer of the trip.  Had to kill some time and do some work at the airport last night, so sat down and had the Fish Tale Organic IPA – Soundkeeper.  This beer is a bit of a mystery… had to call Anthony’s Homeport at the airport today to confirm this was it since “soundkeeper” seems to be somewhat of a side name.

Anyhow, no picture… I forgot and my camera phone sucks.  So I bought a 22oz glass of the stuff and settled down with the warm glow of my laptop screen.  I was surrounded by fellow travelers that I quickly tuned out and ignored. :)   A lighter than expected color and small head greated me.  I took a taste and tasted the comfort of hops and malt… more hops than malt, of course.  The aftertaste is where I was let down, though.  It stuck with me… no clean finish.  Just mild hops and on into bitterness that left me feeling like I had bitter stuck in the back of my throat.

Short review… overall not impressed.  Won’t be looking for this one in the store, I am afraid.
