Enjoying the summer day at home and decided to pop a refreshing-sounding bottle of top-shelf brew. Pete’s Wicked Strawberry Blonde was right in front, so there it went.
Overall… I wish I could have tasted the strawberry. I definitely noticed a difference, but no strawberry flavor or smell at all. I think what the strawberry ended up doing is smoothing it out real nice. The malt and hops bowed to the subtle flavors of the fruit and ended up allowing this beer to be pretty ok. Nothing to write home about, but pretty ok.
