Cantillon Lout Peper Kreik 2005 - On Tap

Again, no tasting notes for this one… I think I was too early into it and thought I could keep it all in my head.  This was one of the more exclusive beers, I was told, so I thought I would go for it.  Talk about sour… this lambic was thick like syrup and red like coolaid.  It has a really, really distinct taste that might almost be offensive at first… as you start to get the complexity of this fruit beer, though, you start to see that this is something a bit special.  Sweet, sour, cherry, apple… all sorts of flavors assault you and you end up with an enjoyable beer.  Glad I had a chance with it.
