North Coast Brewing Company’s Pranqster Belgian Style Golden Ale. One hell of a name for another pretty darn good beer with roots in Belgian history. I think I am getting the hang of this style of beer… now that I have had it several times in the past week. I have a few others in the fridge, so later in the week I will have to partake and see if the trend continues.
North Coast Brewing Company has a pretty good thing going with this beer. It was similar, actually, to the Brewery Ommegang HennepinI had last night but I think this was even more smooth. Unfortunately, I only had a small 12 oz bottle… at 7.6% alcohol, this one would have given me a fine little buzz had it been given the chance.
Overall a good, solid Belgian-style beer of a smooth and flavorful sort.
